How It All Began
XyBricks was born from a simple yet powerful idea: that every student deserves access to a great teacher, regardless of where they live, what they earn, or what they want to learn. In 2019, our founders experienced firsthand the frustration of searching for quality tutors — limited options, opaque pricing, and no way to verify teaching credentials. They knew there had to be a better way.
Starting as a small platform connecting university students with local tutors in just one city, XyBricks quickly grew as word spread. Tutors loved the freedom to set their own rates and schedules, while students loved the transparency of verified reviews and the ability to find experts in any subject imaginable. Within a year, we had expanded to 10 countries and offered lessons in over 500 subjects — from mathematics and physics to guitar, coding, and even pottery.
Today, XyBricks is a thriving global community of over 100,000 tutors and millions of students across 42+ countries. We have delivered more than 2 million lessons and support 9 languages. But our mission remains the same as day one: to break down barriers to education and empower anyone to learn anything, from anyone, anywhere. We believe that when knowledge flows freely, everyone benefits — students, tutors, and communities alike.
